SCHRÖDINGER'S LESBIANS
"If a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? If two lesbians f*ck and no one records it did it happen? Sorry let me rephrase that: if two women fall in love but none of the men write about it, did it happen?"
But it’s not only men. Because on an island called Lesbos, Sappho is writing...
Structured around Sappho's fragments, Schödinger's Lesbians is a joyful, irreverent new play about love, lesbians, and how to cope with a history that's written you out of it.

Schödinger's Lesbians was developed as part of Engine Room at the Omnibus Theatre. A full length production debuted at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre as part of Camden Fringe 2024.
It's now in its next stage of development.
LIKE A (VESTAL) VIRGIN
Six women are chosen for priesthood, to worship the goddess Vesta. But, being so powerful comes at a price: no sex. No sex for 30 years. Fuck! (Or not).

Like A (Vestal) Virgin will be a devised piece exploring sisterhood, sex, and silence. These women have a greater discovery in store, and it starts with their pussies.
THEME-IS: SCRATCH NIGHTS
‘Theme-is’ are a series of relaxed, fun and welcoming networking event/scratch nights, showcasing work from female-identifying and non-binary creatives.
We welcome any type of work that fits within the chosen theme of the night - from spoken word to new writing to monologues to comedy - you name it, we want to see it!

We offer an informal performance space to test out new work, receive detailed audience feedback, and generally just have a fun one.
PAST PROJECTS
Take a trip with us down memory lane...
THE DISSENT
Starting from a scratch piece, ‘The Dissent’ grew into our debut play, premiering at the Golden Goose Theatre in 2022. Blissfully ignorant of hardship, we decided a tour was the logical next step, so off we went to Theatre Royal Plymouth and Upstairs at the Western (Leicester), before returning to London for VAULT Festival 2023 as part of Generation V.

Icarus, Ariadne and Phaedra are in hell. Literally. Now they’re uniting to smash the patriarchy for a second shot at life and asking why, two thousand years later, the same questions are being asked. In a re-imagining of three intertwined Greek myths, Icarus (now a young woman) has fallen from the sky to her death. In a trial to determine where she’ll spend eternity, Icarus is forced to examine the events which led to her flight and defend her choices. But how can she give her defence when history, the justice system and language itself is not designed for women?
THEME-IS: FIRSTS
Our initial event took place at The Pen Theatre in South Bermondsey in July of 2022. The theme for the evening was 'FIRSTS' in honour of it being our first ever Theme-Is night.

Performers for the night were: Chris Falcon (Daddy Issues), Molly McFarlane (Lonely and Extremely Pissed), Tara Kitson (Runner 261), Jemma Ramsden (Moments), Laima Helena Vanaga (Chasing Lisa), Lily Roberts (Girl in a Haunted House), Susana Millan (Places)
